Meine Atelierpraxis fokussiert sich auf die Untersuchung der Produktion von Malerei und Raum. Die Projekte umfassen Serien aus Zeichnung und Malerei sowie Objekte und Installationen. Dabei generieren die Bedingungen des Materials und des Kontexts Untersuchungen zum Medium der Malerei und zur Erfahrung und Wahrnehmung von Farbräumen. Die Verankerung meiner Arbeit an Produktion und Prozess spannt sie zwischen formalen und weitreichenderen Fragen zum menschlichen Raum auf.
My studio practice is centered on an inquiry into the production of painting and space. My projects are series of paintings, objects and installations. The limitations of materials and context are in turn generative, resulting in investigations into the medium of painting, the experience and perception of color space and other related problems. Tying my work to the reasons of production, process and to my own labor as an artist I act in the tension between formal qualities and larger systems how they inhabit human spaces.
